Dotik narave (Nature's touch) is on a mission to raise awareness of whole-body health, the beneficial effects of quality exercise and the powerful impact of nature on our general well-being. 



The woman behind the venture, Hana Mihevc, is passionate about educating people, helping them get out of (chronic) pain and realizing their self-healing potential through movement, massage therapy and re-connection with nature. She has reached many people through her exercise programmes and continues to see a growing trend in self-care practices (wellness and mindfulness). Hana specializes in customized therapeutic programmes (Pilates) and massages (ex.: aromatherapeutic massage) that focus on spinal health, injury prevention, deep relaxation and stress management.



Our impact idea includes building a community space which will house a wellness studio (promotion of exercise and mindfulness programmes, massage therapy, and self-care workshops) with additional co-working or community spaces for individuals/societies who promote a sustainable and healthy lifestyle. 

This space will also encourage better care for the environment and nature in the form of a community garden. Society is facing a shift in core values and mindset. More and more people want to learn how to be more self-sufficient, how to reconnect with nature and protect the environment. To minimize our ecological footprint, we must work towards improving our lifestyles and our local environment.

Dotik narave will try to increase its positive impact by:



1. Promoting better care for the environment and nature through outdoor exercise programmes, massage therapy, and workshops. There is a whole new field called ecotherapy which includes activities such as nature meditation, horticultural therapy, animal-assisted therapy, physical exercises in a natural environment and involvement in conservation activities. Our goal is to create a green and educational outdoor space that will surround the indoors. We wish to build a community garden and a chicken coop that will promote general well-being, spending time outdoors and reconnecting with nature. Activities in the garden and spending time with animals are known to help in cases of stress and burnout, social isolation and mental health issues.



2. Cooperating with enthusiastic individuals, businesses and non-profit societies to be more socially inclusive and serve specific underserved groups including the disabled elderly population and people with limiting autoimmune diseases and/or chronic pain.



3. Organizing or co-hosting free informative workshops or outdoor exercise classes to spread awareness on the importance of fitness and wellness, charity events for important environmental causes, and donating services to underserved groups.



4. Speaking up about the importance of workplace health promotion. We are facing more and more health problems (stress, burnout, chronic illnesses, mental health issues,  etc.) which stem from longer working days, a predominantly sedentary lifestyle, blue/artificial light exposure and overuse of technology. All of these problems could be successfully managed with mandatory workplace health promotion measures (exercise classes, educational workshops/lectures, raising awareness about different health issues, promoting the development of positive body image, and workplace therapy).
