A nonprofit institute, specialized for support for women and family enterprises in business growth and internationalization. Main activity is dedicated to research of economic equality of women, development of SMEs and providing support and guidance for new entrepreneurs, young women oriented for self-employment, etc.
Established in the year 2001, has been involved in several national and European projects dedicated to women entrepreneurship development and cooperates with national and international institutions and agencies.
Our goal is to promote and develop women’s equality in the business world, providing more opportunities for social impact of women in business in their environment. Since 2017 Zavod Meta has been a Community of Slovenian women entrepreneurs in SME sector.
- We are chief coordinator of the largest event of women entrepreneurship in Slovenia – 500 Women Entrepreneurs 2019 – which has international recognition and validity
