Sklad 05, as a member and partner of many international organizations established strong partnerships for 2021, when Slovenia held the Presidency of the Council of the EU with the desire to organise a key event in the field of social economy development during the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU.
In autumn 2021, from 11th till 15th of October 2021, an international conference European Social Economy week was organised, together with TGE and European networks Euclid Network, Donors and Foundations Networks in Europe – DAFNE and European Foundation Centre – EFC. Main event of European Social Economy Week 2021 was a two-day high-level conference: ActSE2021 on 12th and 13th of October, focused into Digital Social Innovation, organised in hybrid edition at the Conference Hall of Crystal Palace in BTC City, Ljubljana, Slovenia. In the light of launching Social Economy Action Plan in the last quarter of 2021, the main topic of the conference was focused on strengthening social innovation ecosystem through digital and advanced technologies. The goal was to increase the integration of social innovation within traditional industries and sectors, which are facing the need for transformation in post pandemic period and through innovative approaches and advanced technologies achieve the solutions for the “Future of work”.
At the same time, Slovenia hosted the annual meeting of the international network Transnational Giving Europe, which was organized from 14th to 15th of October 2021 in Ljubljana.
