Mentors of non-profit institute “Skupnost slovenskih podjetnic”, specialized for support for women and family enterprises in business growth and internationalization, presented the project ACTIMPACT mentoring program for the development of entrepreneurship for the first time. Event was held in Slovenj Gradec on 21 April. Businesswomen from Koroška region also shared their experience and as it seems by their participation and response, they want to gain even more new knowledge and skills for successful operation in the business world. Above all, businesswomen are enthusiastic about the possibility of networking and new contacts.
Event was opened by Marta Turk, founder of non-profit institute “Skupnost slovenskih podjetnic”, who emphasized the importance of equal opportunities and economic independence of women in the world and in Slovenia. She also unveiled a new free mentoring program ActImpact, which offers free help in business development. “We will take women entrepreneurs from their initial state, through a certain growth into internationalization and assess their impact on society and the environment,” said Marta Turk at the meeting, adding that networking and exchange of knowledge and experience are also important for the growth of women entrepreneurs.
Participants from all over Slovenia who already have entrepreneurial experience and those who are just starting their entrepreneurial path can join the project. The community estimates that more than 70 women seeking mentoring support will join the program in two years. An important benefit of this program is in raising awareness of the impact of entrepreneurial activity on the environment, society and the individual (impactisation).
Entrepreneurs who join project ActImpact will receive a number of benefits, including:
• training for entrepreneurial growth,
• participation in international content (fairs, conferences, exhibitions),
• mentoring after the end of the training,
• diagnosis of the company, business goals, evaluation at the end,
• training including impactation.
